The focus of the collection lies on identity, roots and heritage. How I, like many, am a blend of multiple cultures across the globe. Spread through migration over time for better conditions and different ways of life. Be it a flight from a conflict zone or through a curiosity for new cultures and countries, I remain a product of many stories before me. This directly affects my artistic curiosity and expression, a reflection of a mixed identity blending Eastern, Western & African influences. My intuitive design preference influences my work visibly as inspiration has been sought from organic, flowing shapes, lines and nourished growth, visible throughout the collection.

I explore a universe of different characteristic aesthetics . With roots in cold, materially wealthy Scandinavia, I follow my own journey to warm, open climates, connecting it to my ancestry.

 

Sensitivity, delicacy and detail meet bold textures. Heavy threads meet lightweight transparency for a cutting contrast.
